Who we are
This website, tuko.world, is run by TUKO Baby Limited, a company registered in Scotland (company number: SC757961). Our registered office is 63 Dock Street, Dundee, Scotland, DD1 3DU. You can reach us at info@tuko.world.
When we say "TUKO", "we" or "us", we mean TUKO Baby Limited. When we say "you", we mean anyone using this site.
What this site is for
TUKO is a baby carrier designed for dads. We haven't started selling it yet. Right now, this site lets you find out about the carrier and reserve a place in our founding run.
By using the site or reserving a place, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
Reserving a founding place
The founding run is limited to the first 1,000 people who reserve a place. To reserve, you give us your first name and email address.
Reserving a place:
- costs nothing and doesn't commit you to buying anything
- holds your place in the queue until the founding run opens
- gives you access to the founder's price when it does
You can give up your place at any time by unsubscribing from our emails or by emailing us at info@tuko.world.
We'll keep one reservation per email address. If we think a reservation is fake, automated or duplicated, we may remove it.
Price
The planned retail price (RRP) of a TUKO carrier is £220. Founding members will be offered the carrier at the founder's price of £170.
Prices on this site are a guide to what we plan to charge. The final price, delivery cost and any other charges will be confirmed before you're asked to pay anything.
When you actually buy
When the founding run opens, we'll email you with a link to buy. We plan to run the founding run through Kickstarter. If you back TUKO there, Kickstarter's own terms will also apply to your pledge, including how and when you're charged.
If you buy from us directly instead, we'll give you our sale terms before you pay. Nothing on this page limits your legal rights as a UK consumer, including your right to cancel most online orders within 14 days.
Dates
We're aiming to ship the first carriers in January 2027. We'll do everything we can to hit that date, but product development and manufacturing can take longer than planned. If dates change, we'll tell founding members first.
Product information
We've tried to describe TUKO accurately, but the carrier is still being finalised. Materials, colours, measurements and features shown on the site may change slightly before launch. Photos are for illustration.
The information on this site isn't a substitute for the instructions that come with your carrier. Always follow those when you use it.
Using the site
Please don't misuse the site. That includes trying to break it, get into parts you're not meant to, send us automated sign-ups or copy our content for commercial use.
Everything on the site, including the TUKO name, logo, words, photos and designs, belongs to us or the people who licensed it to us. You're welcome to share links to the site.
Links to other sites
We link to other sites, like Instagram, LinkedIn and Kickstarter. We don't control them and aren't responsible for what's on them.
Our responsibility to you
We don't exclude or limit our liability where the law doesn't allow us to. That includes death or personal injury caused by our negligence, and fraud.
Otherwise, because reserving a place is free, we're not responsible for losses caused by the site being unavailable, dates changing, or the founding run not going ahead.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as TUKO moves from reservations to sales. The date at the top shows when they last changed. If a change affects your reservation, we'll email you.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring a claim in your local courts.
